This is a very broad sub-domain when it comes to details. For the purposes of Security+, you need to know that you have to create standards and guidelines.

Typically we would like to give you more than a ‘pass the test’ book and want to be your handy reference guide. The challenge with this sub-domain is the sheer volume of data would exceed this entire book. Fear not however! Thanks to the U.S. taxpayer, whatever you need to work out the details can be found from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) CSRC (Computer Security Resource Center) with the soon to be famous 800 series.
