Maintenance
Maintenance can fall into
two categories: Proactive and reactive. The former
is all the digital domestic chores that keep little fires
from becoming raging infernos. This is akin to changing the oil in a
vehicle before engine wear destroys the motor.
The latter form of maintenance
or reactive maintenance can be dealt with quickly if you have
laid out a solid SOP, as defined in the previous chapter. Here
you will learn some concepts of what should be entered in THE
BOOK.
