A recoverable file system designed for use specifically with Windows NT and Windows 2000. NTFS uses database, transaction-processing, and object paradigms to provide data security, file system reliability, and other advanced features. It also supports object-oriented applications by treating all files as objects with user-defined and system-defined attributes.

NTP (Network Time Protocol)

Protocol used to synchronize the clocks of computers to some time reference

NuBus

Expansion bus found in some legacy Macintosh computers. A processor specific bus. I.E. An expansion card for a 68010 would not work in a computer with a 68020 CPU.
