A popular memory aid for remembering the OSI model works from the top down: “All People Seem To Need Data Processing”.

Using OSI Mnemonics

The mnemonic above can be used to help you remember to draw the OSI model on blank paper provided by the test center, and written down before you begin your test.


Keeping in mind the memory aid, see how it fits the chart below.
