As with any book there are many people to thank. An entire team puts together a project such as this and we would like to thank the following for their contributions and support.

Bruce Moran for the support of material and ideas. All my students for being a solid sounding board for fleshing out the presentation concepts. A huge thanks goes to Helen for her tireless support and efforts on this body of work. Helen, this writing effort may seem like the seven stables of Hercules but in the end, I know the readers will benefit.

Thanks to Tcat Houser for giving me the opportunity to be involved in this project. The hours have been long and strange (can you say disk errors at quarter to 2 in the morning?), and for the most part much fun and quite a learning experience.

I’d also like to thank Laurel Ann Spivey-Dumas for the excellent work she did on the initial versions of this text, which gave me a great start on the project, and Matt Simmons for his contributions in editing formatting various versions. Special thanks to Eric Christensen for final draft editing.
