V Summary In this chapter you learned the various properties of FAT and its limitations with NT. You also learned of the FAT capabilities in Windows 2000. Understanding the features and utilities of NT will be assistive in installing and setting up the operating system. The various print utilities in NT will help in managing document production. The differences in navigation from 9X operating systems were explained. The troubleshooting features found in Dr Watson were covered. Both the powerful NT and Win2K operating systems are complete studies and should be explored in greater detail. This chapter was intended to be an overview to these operating systems and should not be considered complete beyond the scope of the A+ Operating system test. You are encouraged to continue your introduction to NT and WIN2K.
