Pop Up Menus?
There are various types of menus
hidden within the Windows system and Windows applications designed to
assist you in navigation. Many of these windows have shortcut commands
designed to help you navigate to tell you what an item is about. One
of these types of menus is a pop-up menu, so named because it can pop
up anywhere on the screen to give you information or let you choose
an action to perform. A pop up menu looks like: A text box that pops
up with information, as we see in Figure 19.
