Multiple Windows If we have multiple windows open as shown below, we can close them by using the task management feature. Each time we minimize a window, then open another program or file,(in this case it was Explorer) we had multiple windows open. These windows can be managed from the task bar with the options to cascade or tile. This way we can view several documents or pictures at once and easily navigate through each one right clicking on the task bar (not on an icon) will bring up the help menu as we see in Figure 36.
As you can see there are 3 Windows open. Each window can be opened, closed or minimized. The windows are designed to let us move through views and to let us compare information. Practice opening and closing several windows, you can't hurt anything just close each window when you are done to get back to a normal view. 8 Practice cascading/tiling windows
