Mouse Adjustment (Page 1 of 2) To use the mouse we must first decide how we want our buttons to be set. These are the buttons that we use to click on various menu options. To adjust the mouse in Windows, go to start, settings, Control Panel then double click on mouse to adjust mouse properties.
Notice that the mouse is highlighted on the task bar above. To accomplish this (it doesnt usually appear there automatically), this option was selected on the mouse properties Window. This option allows you to click on the mouse and adjust settings as necessary, instead of going through the Control Panel to make changes. If your mouse properties allow you to configure the mouse settings to be accessible from the task bars system tray, seriously consider doing so. The properties window allows for left or right hand control. For those wishing increased accessibility features there are commands to customize in addition to the basic controls. Make notes as necessary on the mouse graphic. If you are left-handed you can change how your mouse is setup in mouse properties. The keys are to learn to double click and single click, and learn which button is which for fast navigation.
