Mouse Adjustment (Page 2 of 2) Mouse Control Chart The mouse control chart will help you with some of the keys you can press on the keyboard along with a mouse click for faster navigation. Be aware that in newer versions of Windows, the user can select whether the mouse requires a double-click to open documents (as in classic Windows), or will open documents on a single-click (a newer option, designed to save on mouse button-clicking). By default, the mouse will usually be set to classic Windows double-click behavior. If you wish to change it to single-click behavior (which will frustrate all visitors to your PC, since the single-click option is not commonly used!), the mouse properties page lets you do that. Look for options like Single-click to open an item (point to select) and Double-click to open an item (single-click to select).
