Expanding Menu Contents



Notice the '+' and '-' signs next to each option, in the Explorer window of Figure 39. This will expand your menu or file options further by clicking on the + sign to expand the menu and the minus - sign to contract or close the menu.

Use the F6 key to switch between panes of the Window Display. Using the arrow
· left key will collapse a selection, using the right expands a selection.


The contents displayed on the right are now displayed here. If we then click on the plus + sign next to each drive we will see the contents of that drive.

Notice that each time we click on a drive or folder in the Explorer display, the contents of the Address area of the window we are in changes. In addition to the name of the drive or folder, an icon is also displayed. The icon is included in the address to identify if we are in a folder or a drive. Some folders are represented by special icons, such as the Control Panel..
