Control Panel Views Some of the main areas of the Control Panel we need to familiar with, are discussed below.
From here we can change settings for our monitor, sound, modem, network. As you can see from the menu on the left side of the screen shot that this is where we use settings to personalize our computer. We can even change the view of our Control Panel to a list of items. You can choose Large Icons, Small Icons, List or Details. The first two give more screen space to the icon for the function, while the second two give more screen space to the text name of the function and information about it. Lets choose the List option. Note in Figure 50 the result of this change.
