Changing File or Folder Properties

Like many other activities in Windows, there’s more than one way to change the properties of a file

From My Computer , you can view files by using the Open or Explore options, and right click to access their properties.

Right-Click Works

You can also right-click a folder or file that is on the desktop, and then click Properties.


From Windows Explorer, you can also click the file or folder whose properties you want to change. On the File menu, click Properties. Enter changes in the Properties dialog box.

You can also go to Windows Explorer, choose the folder¸ in the left window “pane”, right-click the folder to change the properties.
