COPY The COPY command can use wildcards and can rename files in the process of copying. Follow the example: C:\>COPY A:MY-DOC.TXT F:\>NOW-YOUR.TXT This will copy from the file named MY-DOC.TXT to the F drive and rename it NOW-YOUR.TXT, and will do this while being at the drive specified as drive C. (Note that the only spaces in the command above are after the word COPY and after the first .TXT. 8 Practice Copying & Renaming
