Backup Method for Windows 9x (Page 2 of 2) Backing Up and Restoring Figure 128 and Figure 129 illustrate selecting the backup and restore options, respectively.
To Start a Backup: click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Backup.
To install Backup, first choose and install the media you are backing up to. Then open the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box at the Windows Setup tab. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, and the message searching for installed components appears. When this is complete, go to System Tools, then highlight and click details. Check the Backup box as shown in Figure 130 and install.
You may need your Operating System CD (software) to complete the install, because the Backup program files may not already be on your hard disk.
