Xeon

In 1998 Intel expanded the Pentium II line by introducing the Xeon. This breed of CPU uses Slot 2 technology, which is a wider connector with 330 contacts. Starting at 400 MHz, the biggest change is the L2 cache operates at full processor speed.

Xeon uses a Slot 2-form factor.
