a new version, the PC-XT. This unit had a larger power
supply, which it needed to support the built-in 10MB hard
drive. Within two years, IBM went from zero to
hero in personal computing. At that time, it appeared that IBM
had won the race. The industry wasn't keeping a close
enough eye on the Apple.
