TFT

Thin Film Transistor (TFT) is a specialized and desired form of display.

With TFT three discrete transistors, for the colors, red, blue and green, control each cell or pixel.

The thin film is often a magnetic material on a base material. The term TFT is typically referring to active matrix displays, as there is a controlled refresh rate (current) to the transistors.
