Slot 2

Slot 2 is wider than Slot 1, with 330 contacts. The biggest difference is Slot 1 limits L2 cache to ½ speed, while Slot 2 allows full processor speed to the L2 cache, as seen in the former Pentium Pro or the Xeon processors.
