Intel

Intel currently was busy creating a fortune with the 4004 CPU that is used in calculators.

They were not a dominating factor in the supply of CPUs for microcomputers. Other CPUs such as the Zilog Z-80, as well as offerings from Motorola dominated the field.

With this, CP/M from the renamed Digital Research, Inc. (DRI) became the dominant operating system, with Microsoft (now without a space) being the dominant computer language firm.
