Windows Backup The Windows Backup tool can be accessed by going to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools, and clicking the Backup item. You will see a dialog box similar to the one in Figure 166.
Three wizard options are available: Backup, Restore or Emergency Repair Disk (ERD). The emergency repair disk is actually almost nothing to do with backing up or restoring, and is used to save a copy of some basic system information to a floppy disk for use in emergencies16.
