Webmin Install and Login After downloading the latest release, install it by becoming the administrator (root) then running: rpm -Uvh webmin_filename Note: The startup services must be configured to start Webmin at boot time to insure availability after a reboot; otherwise, Webmin will have to be restarted manually after rebooting. On many Linux systems, this is done with the command: /etc/rc.d/init.d/webmin start Where webmin_filename is the complete path to the name of the Webmin package that was downloaded. The install will start the Webmin server, which can be accessed by pointing the browser to localhost port 10,000 (https://localhost: 10000). A page like Figure 362 should appear. By supplying root as the user name and the root password Webmin can be configured and administration tasks performed. Figure 363 shows an example of the basic Webmin screen.
