WMIC The wmic75 (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line) command is a CLI and scripting interface that makes using WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) more simple to use. Typing wmic and hitting Enter for the first time installs WMIC on your system and takes you to the wmic prompt afterwards. Typing wmic /? prints the wmic help page but at the bottom, you are prompted to type in the name of the global switch you want more information on then /? , press any key to continue or to hit the ESC key to return to the command prompt as displayed in Figure 309.
Typing wmic /user /? results in a display of the /help parameters, as you can see in Figure 310.
