Display Settings 1 Folder Options

The troubleshoot button opens the Help and Support window and the Advanced button opens the properties window for the monitor and video card as seen in Figure 213²⁵.

As you can see, this box offers six tabs: General, Adapter, Monitor, Troubleshoot, Color Management and a tab for the video card, in this case a GeForce FX 5200.

The next selection in the Appearance and Themes page is “Change the desktop background”. This is the same properties box brought up by the previous selections except that it takes you directly to the Desktop tab rather than the Themes tab. Of course, you can still access the same tabs previously described. This has already been shown in a figure above

The option “Choose a screen saver” takes you directly to the Screen Saver tab in the Display Properties box as has been previously described and shown in the figure above.

“Change screen resolution” takes you directly to the Display Properties box Settings tab that has been previously shown in a figure above.

Under “or pick a Control Panel icon” clicking on Display will bring up the same view as clicking on “Change the computer’s theme.
