Corrupt IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, or both. Solution: SYS command, such as SYS C: IO.SYS is missing. Solution: SYS command, such as SYS C: A line in config.sys to load a himem.sys is missing: A line like this is needed: DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS That is what it means.
