Token Ring

Token Ring technology uses tokens, a special package transmitted constantly from host to host, which should have the station to carry out transfer of the data. This mechanism eliminates the chance of collisions. The speed of work is designed at 16Mbps in modern execution. There is the development of a Fast Token Ring at 100Mbps.
