The Edit Command

The edit command launches a full screen text editor that permits the editing of a text file. Simply type, “edit”, followed by the name of the file you wish to edit. The edit program will appear, and load the file for you. If you want to create a new file, type the edit command without any parameters.

No screenshot appears here because Edit uses its own pseudo-GUI system.
