SC The sc67 command retrieves and sets information about services. Typing either sc or sc /? will result in the sc help page although the /? option will also produced an unrecognized command message. You are not immediately returned to the command prompt but instead, you are asked if you want help with the QUERY or QUERYEX commands. You answer either yes or no and afterwards you are returned to the command prompt.
With this command you can start, stop, pause or query services. For example, to query dhcp services, type sc query dhcp. An example of the result is in Figure 298.
