Registry Tools - RegEdt32.EXE
RegEdit32 -- the command is actually abbreviated RegEdt32.EXE so it complies with 8.3 naming conventions -- is the other Registry tool available to system administrators. It accesses and displays exactly the same Registry (there is only one!) as RegEdit, so why have Microsoft provided us with two tools that do the same job? A good question. Because both RegEdit and RegEdit32 can perform the same basic value manipulation, the actions covered in RegEdit will not be recapped here.
