PrnQCtl

This command prints a test page, pauses, resumes or clears a printer queue. Typing either prnqctl65 or “prnqctl /?” results in the prnqctl help page listing syntax, arguments, and examples. An example of this is displayed in Figure 295.

To print a test page on a printer named “officejet” on a server named “micron” you would use the command prnqctl –e –s micron –p officejet. There will be no real indication on the CLI that the test page printed. You’ll have to go to the actual printer to find out.
