PPPoE Setup PPPoE, or PPP over Ethernet, is where you input your login information if your service provider requires it, as you are connecting via dial-up. At the PPPoE tab, just click once to check the box for Connect using PPPoE. Then you will be able to enter your Service Provider, your Service Name, Account name and Password (see Figure 388).
Here you can also choose to save your password, if you are the only user or you do not have to worry about others using the internet. You can also choose to have the PPPoE status displayed in the menu bar.
