Modem Diagnostics

The “Diagnostics” tab provides a fast and simple way to confirm if the modem is able to communicate with the operating system (and the serial or PCI bus) properly.

Clicking “Query Modem” will fill out the bottom window with some test commands from the AT command set, and the modem’s response. It is normal for 1 or 2 commands to respond with either “Failed” or “Not Supported”, however the majority should produce a valid (if indecipherable!) response.
