Mesh
Mesh is a network in which
each computer is connected to all others. This variant is very bulky
because each computer should have a large number of ports for communication
with others. Moreover, for each pair it is necessary to carry out a
separate link. The unique advantage is an increased reliability that
insures that if one of the hosts falls, others will continue to work.
This topology is applied to very important objects, for example, a
nuclear power plant. Mesh is also used in some WANs to connect all
of the sites to each other.
