Removing inherited permissions and assigning them directly to the object is a very simple task. Unchecking the “Allow inherited permissions…” check box prompts you with the dialog in Figure 150.

To duplicate the inherited permissions as directly assigned ones, click the “Copy” button. Clicking “Remove” removes all inherited permissions from the object, and does not assign any of them directly. “Cancel” aborts the operation, and leaves both the permissions and the state of the inheritance check box untouched.
