HelpCtr

This command opens the Help and Support Center if used without switches.54 There are five basic parameters including:

  • /url which specifies the particular uniform resource locator you want displayed

  • /mode which specifies an extensible markup language used to control the context, layout, and content of the Help and Support Center

  • /hidden which starts the Help and Support Center without displaying the user interface

  • /fromstarthelp which starts a new instance of the Help and Support Center

  • “/?” which shows the help page output for helpctr

Interestingly, this particular command does not seem to be supported on any of my XP machines.
