Enabling Email You can either configure mail accounts in Mail when booting the machine up for the first time, or after installing Mac OS X, or you can add this information later. The first time you open Mail by clicking its icon in the Dock (see Figure 391) you will be asked for your email information, if you already have an email account.
In order to set this up you will be prompted for the following information:
Now you are good to go. Another handy little feature included with Mail is the Junk mail feature. Make sure you train it first!
