Back on the Control Panel Category View, clicking on Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options opens the Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options category view. The format is the one we have become familiar with in this section. Under “Pick a task”, you can choose from:

• Change the date and time
  
  
• Change the format of numbers, dates, and times
  
  
• Add other languages

Clicking on Change the date and time opens the Date and Time Properties box at the Date & Time tab. This allows you to adjust the date and time if necessary. The same box can be opened by moving your cursor over the time display in the right hand corner of the system tray, right clicking and selecting Adjust Date/Time.

Clicking on Change the format of numbers, dates, and times opens the Regional and Language Options box at the Regional Options tab. This allows you to configure the numbers, currency, time and other settings for your particular nation and language. An example of this box is in Figure 255.

Clicking on Add Other Languages opens the same box at the Languages tab. From here, you can configure additional language support⁴⁴ for your Windows XP computer.

Under “or pick a Control Panel icon” selecting Date and Time again opens the Date and Time Properties box at the Date & Time tab. Clicking on Regional and Language Options opens the Regional and Language Options box we saw in earlier figure In the above left hand area under “See Also”, clicking on scheduled tasks again opens the Scheduled Tasks box we have seen before.
