Changing an Account 1 Learning About User Accounts

Clicking Create a new account⁴² opens a Name the new account wizard seen below. On this page, you can create and configure new computer accounts. A variety of user accounts can be created here by the administrator.

Clicking on Change the way users log on or off opens the part of the user accounts page that lets you select either Use the Welcome Screen, Use Fast User Switching, or both as options for logging on and off the computer.

Below, under “or pick an account to change, you can select a particular account you wish to modify. Selecting this gives you a variety of options to change as you can see in Figure 253.
