Cookies are small data files used by websites to track your usage, preferences and other useful items about you. Whether these items are useful to you or not depends on their use. For example, Amazon.com uses cookies to track your preferences so that you are greeted with a personalized page each time you access their site. However other sites may use cookies to track covertly your general usage, which some may consider an invasion of privacy. Again, you should consider whether you require this functionality. Cookies alone are not malicious; therefore setting the options to Prompt should suffice.
