Configuring Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer (IE) is the most
widely-used Web browser for Windows, employed by millions of people
every day. However, using the Internet today brings with it many dangers,
in the form of malicious code such as viruses, and possible violations
of privacy. For that reason it is essential that you carefully configure
IE to ensure safe browsing.
Another issue is that many people
now use a proxy server, which acts as an intermediary between the client
computer and servers that it wishes to access. Well also examine
how proxies are set up and managed in IE.
