Checking the System Monitor Log The object will appear red at first to signify it is stopped, but will turn green after a few seconds. Wait a few moments, and then open Event Viewer. In the application log, you will see a number of events from SysmonLog. Double click the first event in the list.
The system monitor has logged an event to the event log detailing which alert triggered, and what values caused the trigger to occur. A valuable preemptive troubleshooting tool! Before continuing, return to the Computer Management console, right click the alert and select delete. If the alert is left active, it will continue flagging and fill up the event log very quickly.
