Changing the Date, Time and Localization (Page 3 of 3) Input Locales The last tab, Input Locales, controls the keyboard settings for the current user.
The screenshot above shows a UK keyboard layout as the default, with no alternatives configured. When working in different countries, always check the physical keyboard layout against the one Windows is configured to use there is no automatic correlation between the two. There are subtle differences between even an (English) UK and USA keyboard this author has forgotten this on more than one occasion, and ended up typing a document full of # signs instead of £ signs.
