Backup/Restore It is important that all of the files created each day are stored in a safe location, and can be resurrected in case of a hardware failure or similar disaster. One of the simplest ways to do this is to save the file to another location, on removable media such as a floppy disk or rewritable CD./ DVD. A second method is to backup the files to another drive, or across a network to another computer. The third and most common method is to backup the files to a tape drive. If we are on a network the system administrator usually makes these decisions, and uses a backup agent to back up the data on client PCs.
