Appearance Options The Appearance tab in the Display Properties box allows you to adjust the style of windows and buttons, the color scheme, and font size. A preview of those settings appears on the upper half of the box as you can see in Figure 211.
The effects button configures transition effects, the appearance of screen fonts, icon edges and size, shadows under menus, and similar details24.
