100VG Any-LAN
In theory, 100VG Any-LAN technology
should supersede Ethernet, as it uses a demand priority method of access,
which deletes network collisions in the air, provides also a division
of the traffic by priorities, and is a carrier of voice and video transmission
in real time. Despite clear advantages, it is not embraced by technology
because of the unwillingness of vendors to distribute this standard.
